MECE grouping

Groups should be mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive for the decision at hand — not for the entire company.

Rules

1. Columns, lanes, and findings sets do not overlap in meaning.
2. If a leftover item is needed for the decision, it gets a group; if not, it is cut.
3. Do not add an “Other” bucket to hide a messy structure.
