When to use
Use when the decision needs a scoreboard. Do not use twelve KPIs. Do not use this as a dashboard screenshot.
Guidelines
Four tiles. Title names which metric is the issue. Units on the tile.
Example
Harbor Wave 0
Scan rate is fine; dock dwell is the metric that still kills same-day.

Four metrics, title calls dock dwell. Steal the “one guilty metric” title.
Rules
- Three to five KPIs.
- Title names the metric that matters, not “Dashboard.”
- Each tile has a value and a label; units are visible.
- Time window is on the source line.
User recipe
Goal: show a scoreboard.
Inputs: metrics with units and window, the guilty metric.
Constraints: KPI / metric row Rules.
Prompt skeleton: “Make a KPI-row slide in family consulting-exhibit using the KPI / metric row rules. Metrics: [list]. Guilty metric: [name]. Window: [range].”
Anti-patterns
- Gauge charts.
- Ten tiles with no so-what.
